Terms & Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between Ruci AG (operating Bollywood Tour and Mango Restaurant, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the participant or booking party (“Client”, “Participant”, or “you”) for all guided tours, excursion packages, and related services offered in Switzerland.

2. Scope of Services & Contract Conclusion

2.1. Bollywood Tour provides guided excursions to iconic Indian cinema film locations across the Saanenland and Bernese Oberland region (including Gstaad, Saanen, Rougemont, Lauenen, and surrounding alpine sights), along with cultural and dining experiences at Mango Restaurant.

2.2. A legally binding contract is established as soon as your booking request is confirmed in writing (by email, booking confirmation voucher, or through our integrated reservation system Bookeo) or upon receipt of payment.

3. Prices, Currency & Payment Terms

3.1. All tour prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) (or EUR where indicated) and include statutory Swiss Value Added Tax (MWST / VAT) where applicable.

3.2. Payment may be made via accepted electronic payment methods (credit card, debit card, online payment gateways) or in cash at the designated check-in point prior to tour departure.

3.3. For private group bookings or customized event packages, a deposit or full prepayment may be required at the time of reservation confirmation.

4. Tour Itinerary, Alpine Weather & Modifications

4.1. Our tours take place in the Swiss alpine environment. While we make every effort to adhere to scheduled itineraries, safety remains our utmost priority.

4.2. Ruci AG reserves the right to make reasonable route adaptations or schedule adjustments due to extreme weather conditions, mountain road closures, seasonal gondola maintenance, or force majeure events. Equivalent scenic alternatives will be provided wherever possible.

5. Cancellation, Rebooking & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be communicated to us in writing by email (mango@ruci.ch) or telephone:

5.1. Weather Force Majeure: If a tour must be canceled entirely by Ruci AG due to severe alpine weather warnings, heavy snowstorms, or official safety advisories, participants will be offered a full 100% refund or free postponement to an alternate date.

6. Participant Obligations & Safety

6.1. Punctuality: Participants are required to arrive at the designated meeting point (e.g. Gstaad railway station or Mango Restaurant) at least 10 minutes before the scheduled tour departure time.

6.2. Alpine Clothing & Equipment: Participants are responsible for wearing sturdy walking shoes / mountain footwear and weather-appropriate clothing suitable for changing mountain conditions.

6.3. Minors: Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult supervisor.

7. Liability & Insurance

7.1. Limitation of Liability: Ruci AG is liable only for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence on its part, within the maximum scope permitted by Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR). Any liability for slight negligence, indirect damages, or unforeseen third-party acts is expressly excluded.

7.2. Insurance Responsibility: Adequate personal health, accident, rescue (including REGA / mountain rescue), and third-party liability insurance is the sole responsibility of each participant.

8. Intellectual Property & Photography

8.1. All trademarks, photographs, tour descriptions, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Ruci AG or licensed rights holders.

8.2. Participants are warmly welcome to take personal photos and videos during the tour. Commercial reproduction or public broadcasting requires prior written consent from Ruci AG.

9. Data Protection

We handle all personal data in strict compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / nDSG). Detailed information regarding data collection, processing, and rights is provided in our Privacy Policy.

10. Severability, Applicable Law & Place of Jurisdiction

10.1. Should any individual provision of these Terms and Conditions be deemed invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

10.2. Applicable Law: All legal relationships between Ruci AG and the Client are exclusively governed by Swiss Law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

10.3. Place of Jurisdiction: The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms is Saanen / Canton of Bern, Switzerland.
